So what has happened these past weeks in the life of Draag!

Hey!

Last Saturday we had an MMA event called "The Zone FC" in Gothenburg. Me and my friend Rami"all access"Aziz did coach our trainingbuddy Jakub Bugai in the second best fight of the night and he won:)! All in all a very good day with a nice afterparty downtown.

Sitting relaxing in the couch, thinking of tomorrow when we will have the first ever Swedish nationals in submission wrestling. Rami and I will try our best but it´s gonna be tough since there are plenty of more advance grapplers then us:). However it goes this is something that will give me more experience and hopefully make me a better grappler.

For those who were on the 2 day/8 hour seminar in januari with "The Griever" I now have finalized the raw material for the 3 dvd´s, all the techniques are represented. I will not edit anything fyi. I really don´t know how many copies it will be but hook me up on lillen75@hotmail.com. The cost will be 200 SEK for the guys from the seminar(incl freight in Sweden etc).

About Jerome and seminars, I will travel to SoCal for three weeks in june. There it will be alot of fundamental training for Draag and also the planning of the next seminar in Sweden. I know that Jerome has evolved quite some(tons of new techniques) since last visiting my beautiful country. The seminar is planned as of today in august/september. I will keep you updated.

Oo, my own training has pretty much been nice as usual.

Cya!

Saturday!

Hey!

Yesterday and today we´ve had truly great weather in Sweden, my skin is now crispy and red, been reading for some hours in the sun:).

What? Yes, I´ve been doing some training but mostly stretching since my back isn´t ok yet. Today though, we hade I nice workout including boxing, GnP, sidecontrol, guard and takedown exercises.

When it comes to my stretching I´ve started to watch a lot of Ryan Hall dvd´s. I really like how he´s implementing Yoga in grappling. I will continue on stretching tomorrow.

A big thank you to the newly "almost" clean shaven Rami"Gillette"Aziz for linking spotify invites.

Take care.

Since last Friday...

Hi!

Friday has come and gone like all the other days up until now. I held the grappling class this day. Tried to surprise the people with true capoeira training for 20 min, a nice warmup(they huffed and puffed like never before). We continued on with the lockdown/breaking the same and passing, with 10 min rolling at the end.

Saturday I spent on the open mat that "Gladius" arranged. A very good invested 2 hours where I rolled with 3 very good grapplers. Jens Ostling(10 years), Mats Nilsson(brown belt) and August Wallén(black belt). After being tapped out a gazillion times especially by August. I asked him what I really need to train on. After actually praising my progress in 1,5 year he told me that the main focus must be "boring" fundamentals for at least 3 months. I will do my best.

Sunday: Draag rested.

The 3 classes on Monday included a lot of capoeira, 100% and GnP training.

Today we had a guest at the gym his name: Magnus Cedenblad. He recently got home from Russia where he won his last fight against a very good sambo guy(gratz). We started out with some pad work for 2 rounds, then I rolled with Magnus for 2 rounds. Continued on with some nice sparring rounds(4). Finished the training with 2 more rounds grappling (1 gainst M) and then stretching. Fun training:). Thx Magnus.

Take care!

Thursday!

Hey!
Yesterday I just chilled with some stretching for an hour. Today Thursday though, I trained MMA with the guys. Did 5 rounds boxing, 2 rounds GnP and showed 2 jumping "ninja" leglocks. We finished of with 10 min grappling.

It felt good today, I could take some beating without being to afraid:) and I also found the flow while rolling.

Yesterday and today!

Hey!

Monday includes my 3 classes, grappling, box and beginners MMA. We started up with some "soft" drills from wall to wall. Went on to RG(rubberguard) training with meathook as the main focus. Submissions from the same was triangle, sanitarium and last but not least the bombat to triangle. My box sessions have one word in common "cardio"(not much more to say). The beginners MMA did mirror the grappling hour but the last 30 min we worked on some GnP(ground and pound) techniques.

Just got home from todays training, a very nice 1,5 hour of fluid leaking from my body. Some rounds boxing with Rami(tried not to get hit to much) and then a lot of different GnP transitions. Grappling for 10 min ending with 20 min cardio/strength exercises including medicine balls, russian twists, sprawls, kettlebells and situps.

I will try to continue on with Griever´s corner as long as I have material left:)

Have fun take care!
